Another step in Israel’s agenda: legalizing execution as a means of racial domination
American Muslims for Palestine condemns, in the strongest terms, the execution bill passed by the Israeli Knesset yesterday. Under the new law, Palestinians tried in military courts in the occupied West Bank can be sentenced to death by hanging, disregarding basic notions of due process and virtually no meaningful appeal. The bill’s passage does not create a new reality; it intensifies an already existing one: Israeli apartheid, where a two-tiered legal system, built on race and nationality, and enforced through state violence, now increases its power of legalized execution.
To be clear: Israel’s parliament has no legitimate authority to legislate for Palestinians in the West Bank at all. Israel is the belligerent occupier in the West Bank & Gaza, and as such has no sovereign authority, despite ongoing efforts by the Israeli government to entrench de facto annexation.
Palestinians are now subject to death sentences, often in the context of resisting occupation, an internationally protected right. This law only applies to Palestinians, including Palestinian citizens of Israel, if the crime is committed with the “aim of negating the existence of the state of Israel.” Because Israel is self-defined as the “national home of the Jewish people,” this ideological requirement for intent is a euphemism for Palestinians. Moreover, the law does not apply to Israeli settlers, who continue to raid Palestinian villages, carry out organized attacks, burn homes, and kill Palestinians and even Americans with total impunity, and often with the support of the Israeli occupation forces. There is no equivalent law, no mirrored accountability, and no death penalty, let alone any accountability, for settler violence.
As if it isn’t already horrifying enough, as the law was being passed, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, openly celebrated, shamelessly popping champagne with Knesset members as the legalization of executing Palestinians was treated as a political victory. Israeli leaders are not only legalizing the most horrific war crimes and crimes against humanity, but they have reached a point of celebrating the dehumanization of Palestinian with zero remorse, displaying their inhumanity in full force.
This is just another step in Israel’s agenda to completely dominate the occupied territories, and it cannot be treated as an isolated event from any other crime it’s committing. Over the last three years alone, Israel has been allowed to act with total impunity: committing the most well-documented genocide in our history, raiding, killing, and arresting Palestinians in the West Bank, and bombing Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and beyond. The result is a government emboldened enough to legislate execution for an occupied people and celebrate it publicly.
This bill must be condemned in the strongest possible terms, and concrete action must follow. The United States and the international community must immediately move to demand an immediate repeal of this draconian law, hold the Israeli government accountable, end military, financial, and diplomatic aid, impose an arms embargo, and impose real consequences for violations that have gone unchecked for far too long.
In solidarity,
American Muslims for Palestine (AMP)

Amidst days that get darker, we find solace in all the small steps that make us feel our people's power can still grow and power justice over death.
Today we are honoured to share that we have received the Palestine Digital Activism Forum 2026 Award by our partners at 7amleh - The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media, for our work on advancing Palestinian narratives. It will be announced on social media in the coming days.
We have created Communicating Palestine for this exact purpose: so that it is recognized, used, trusted by our peers, by the rich ecosystem of organizations and individuals that were also present at the Forum. We are creating our own tables, equipping our movement with resources that can build power and defeat the zionist propaganda machine.
In the age of misinformation and asymmetric psychological warfare, it is all the more important that our communication is rooted in a liberatory Palestinian narrative that puts people’s first.
Today, you should still attend Day 2 of PDAF , with a lot of insightful conversations, and including a workshop on Communicating Palestine at 2pm Palestine
Thank you for being part of our community and for renovating your trust constantly by using and sharing our knowledge production.
Share the Guide around You
With gratitude,
Inès Abdel Razek

As we mark the 50th anniversary of Land Day, we honor the six Palestinians murdered by Israeli forces on 30 March 1976, (all “citizens”) as they took part in nonviolent protests against the relentless settler-colonial theft of their land. We also honor the many other Palestinians killed since then as Israel’s occupation forces and settlers expand efforts at illegal annexation of Indigenous Palestinian land.
This year's Land Day comes during Israeli Apartheid Week amid Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza. In the shadow of genocide, Israeli military and settler attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank have risen sharply as Israel’s government accelerates its de facto annexation of Palestinian land.
Despite the horror, despite the siege, despite the attempts to erase us, we remain steadfast.

Humanitarian Situation Report

Highlights
- Millions of people throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territory remain reliant on relief aid provided to them amid tight restrictions; many lack protection from Israeli policies and acts of violence that cause casualties, property destruction and displacement.
- In the first three months of 2026, the number of Palestinians displaced in the context of settler violence and access restrictions has reached 1,697, surpassing the whole of 2025; 38 communities have been emptied in this context since 2023.
- Since the onset of the regional escalation, over 150 settler attacks resulted in casualties or property damage in about 90 communities – more than six attacks per day.
- In Gaza, repeated rainstorms and a recent airstrike have destroyed and damaged shelters, as most people remain in displacement sites where living conditions are dire due to overcrowding, water and sewage accumulation, and inadequate access to basic necessities like drinking water, soap, lighting, safe cooking fuel and shelter materials.
- Following a spike in skin infections, humanitarians are scaling up the distribution of hygiene kits, but there is an urgent need for pest control materials and chemicals.
Overview
Eid al Fitr was marked by many Palestinian families amid continued tightened restrictions and heightened risks to their safety. These included risks and restrictions that intensified in the context of the ongoing regional escalation – such as the ongoing closure of Zikim Crossing on Gaza Strip’s perimeter and the risk of debris falling over residential areas of the West Bank. They also included longstanding policies and practices, such as evictions in East Jerusalem, settler violence across the West Bank, and restrictions on the import of items that are critically needed in war-torn in Gaza.

Palestijnse gevangenen zitten geblinddoekt in het Israëlische gevangeniskamp Sde Teiman © Breaking The Silence via AP
Daar moet nú verandering in komen.
4 mei | Inclusieve dodenherdenking in Den Haag

Filmfestival | Global South Lens, Amsterdam

The story of Passover teaches us that our history is one of standing up to oppression.
As you read this, the Pharaohs of our time are carrying out a campaign of mass slaughter and destruction across Palestine, Iran, and Lebanon — claiming to do so in the name of Judaism. In the U.S., the Trump regime exploits Jewish grief to justify crushing anyone who opposes these atrocities.
Today, we fight for the freedom of Palestinians and all people in a time of genocide and fascism. We fight because opposing Pharaohs is a Jewish tradition. We fight because we know our freedom is intertwined with the freedom of all people, from the U.S. to Palestine to Iran. We fight because we must — and because we know in our bones that liberation will come.
It is by forging solidarity with all people committed to collective liberation that we honor Passover.
We offer to you our 5786/2026 JVP Haggadah: Next Year in Safety and Liberation.
Haggadah & Resources
We reclaim our story of liberation from bondage by refusing to bend the knee to the Pharaohs of our time — and by remaining steadfast in our fight for a future where all of us are safe and free.
Fight Pharoahs, not Palestinians.
As Jews, we reject any claim to our safety and freedom won at the expense of another. None of us are free until all of us are free.
Fight Pharoahs, not our neighbors.
As Jews, we refuse to stand by while false claims of antisemitism are used as a cudgel to crush dissent and imprison our neighbors and friends. None of us are free until all of us are free.
Fight Pharoahs, not Iran.
As Jews, we reject the lie that bombs will ever bring freedom — and we stand in solidarity with the Iranian people’s struggle for self-determination. None of us are free until all of us are free.
Haggadah & Resources
In the darkest moments, we draw strength to keep going from the story of our people’s struggle for liberation: their journey from mitzrayim (the narrow space) to freedom. Today, the Pharaohs of the U.S. and Israel invoke our traditions to carry out war and genocide. But we refuse to become complacent or numb to injustice.
This is the story of Passover that we cherish: From our elders who sacrificed their lives to defy Nazi fascism, to the students — Jews and Palestinians, together — who risked losing everything to resist the fascists of our time.
May this ancient tradition be of service in our sacred duty to fight for the liberation of all people.
Chag sameach Pesach.

Spiritual and Cultural Life Manager

P.P.S. Spiritual and ritual materials were prepared by the JVP Leadership & Culture Lab. In the JVP version of the 5786/2026 Haggadah, we have added ways to take action, in this time of war and ongoing genocide, to invite our friends and family to participate.

Steun BDS.

US–Israeli attacks have targeted key Iranian energy facilities, even as public messaging suggested restraint. In response, Iran has moved to control access to the Strait of Hormuz, a chokepoint through which roughly 20% of global oil supply passes, triggering one of the most serious energy disruptions in decades.
As the war deepens, competing narratives are emerging: Washington speaks of negotiation, while Tehran rejects the premise and signals that the balance of power has already shifted.
We are hosting a live episode of The FloodGate Podcast today, Thursday 26 March on YouTube, to examine the logic behind the war as it is being fought—not as it is being presented.
What does this moment reveal about the future of US power, Israeli strategy, and Iran’s role in shaping the region?
Who? Our editor-in-chief Ramzy Baroud, managing editor Romana Rubeo, and geopolitical analyst Robert Inlakesh will discuss the matter in an exclusive conversation—live.

On Wednesday, April 15th, during Genocide Prevention Month, Doctors Against Genocide is hosting an advocacy day in Washington, D.C., with a goal of bringing 1,000 healthcare workers and allies together to demand an end to our government's complicity in genocide and systems of state violence.
Adalah Justice Project is amplifying that call to get as many healthcare workers and allies to the hill as possible.
Are you a healthcare worker, social worker, mental health professional, healthcare student, or simply someone who believes our collective health is tied to resisting genocide?
Join Doctors Against Genocide in DC on April 15th to make it clear that healthcare workers in this country stand firmly against the violence in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran and against systems of state violence in the United States, including ICE attacks and the government's cuts to Medicaid and Medicare.
Sign up for the April 15th Advocacy Day
Genocide Prevention Month means more than just words. It must mean action against the political and economic conditions that allow genocide and mass atrocity to happen.
Health is political. The conditions that make people sick, unsafe, displaced, criminalized, or unable to access care are all connected.
Sign up to join Doctors Against Genocide on April 15th.
There will be an online training ahead of the advocacy day and a retreat the day after to strategize together about how to build sustained power for liberation, protection of life, and collective action.
Whether this is your first time advocating on the Hill or you are a seasoned advocate, your presence can make a huge difference to add pressure to your elected officials in Congress. If you can’t make it, send the sign up form to five healthcare workers in your life, whether friends, family, or your own doctor!

Shahaf here. We don’t normally send you two emails in one week, but these are not normal times. This past Saturday, hundreds of Israeli war resisters demonstrated across the country, in Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem, calling for an immediate end to the war on Iran. Our friends and allies were there, and the reports are shocking. Israeli police brutalized protestors, violently arrested many, and declared the demonstrations illegal.
This is just the latest in a concerted crackdown on dissent against the war. As the police response accelerates, we fear that these anti-war Israeli voices will be shut down. This is why we need you. Together, we are organizing a mass petition of war resisters from around the world calling for an immediate end to the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, and standing up alongside those still fighting within Israel itself. Your voice is the moral boost our friends and allies need to keep fighting. Nico , will you add your voice against the war today?Yes! End the war now
Since the US and Israel launched their war on Iran nearly a month ago, Israeli activists have mobilized for a clear anti-war call. Yet the government response has been swift, and extreme. Two weeks ago, a demonstrator was violently arrested and illegally strip searched. Police have denied permits for protests, and attacked the protestors defying those orders with batons and fists. And the brutality only grew this past week.
This crackdown on protestors is not just about Israel’s latest attacks on Iran. With an ongoing genocide in Gaza, a full-fledged ethnic cleansing campaign in southern Lebanon, daily pogroms against Palestinian residents in the occupied West Bank, and the nonstop attacks on Iranian cities - the Israeli government is aiming to silence all who refuse its program of violence and expansion. But this is where you - and the many thousands in our network - come in. A united, international call against the war will support the Israeli demonstrators refusing the war, and break through the government’s censorship and crackdown. Let’s stand together against the war. Add your voice now:Yes! I want to show my support!
Nico, this moment is not easy. After over two and a half years of genocide and war (and many more years of violent occupation), many of our allies are demoralized. But we know how critical internal opposition is.
We know the power of citizens who refuse - loudly and publicly - to walk along their government’s warpath.
We see it in the tens of thousands of brave citizens in Iran demanding their freedoms, and we see it in the persistence of activists shouting against war on the streets of Jerusalem. We face immense odds, but together, we know we can succeed in building a world of peace.

Dear EP Family,
I am reaching out with urgency and heart.
Tomorrow, as some of you know, we are hosting a virtual visit to Gaza with Sulala Animal Rescue, an opportunity to hear directly from people living through and surviving the unimaginable. We know there are many webinars and events competing for your time, but when we are able to bring forward the voices and stories of genocide survivors, and have them join us live, the least we can do is show up.
Right now, registration is much lower than we had hoped. Your presence truly matters. Showing up is a form of solidarity, of witness, of care. Palestinians want to tell us their stories, they need to tell their stories and we want to hold that space for them.
If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to email us, we are more than happy to provide a free access link. We want you there.
Please consider signing up and being part of this moment.

I'd also love to see you in Chicago on May 17th to celebrate 25 years of Eyewitness Palestine, with an amazing lineup of speakers and performers including Noura Erakat, Abby Martin, Palestinian singer Rola Azar, and more. March 28 might be the biggest protest in U.S. history — so let's make sure of it.
Find your local No Kings demonstration to make it clear that we reject the Trump regime’s war-making and brutality at home and abroad.
It’s never been more clear that a mass movement is necessary to stop the Trump administration’s illegal and immoral wars, relentless brutality, and authoritarianism at home and abroad.
On Saturday March 28, communities will be coming together in cities all across the country to help build a broad anti-authoritarian front against Trump’s politics of war and hatred.
Find a protest near you on March 28.
JVP will be part of “No Kings, No ICE, No War” contingents saying: Divest from Destruction, Invest in Life! We must divest from the machinery of war and militarism — from Palestine to Iran to ICE agents in our cities — and invest in our communities at home with healthcare, food, housing and education.
To build the mass movement we need right now to combat Trump’s politics of war and brutality, we’ll need to keep inviting in new people constantly and help make movement irresistible. This is a perfect opportunity to do so. Invite your friends, family and neighbors to take part in what could be the largest protest in US history.
See you in the streets,
Elena Stein
Director of Organizing Strategy
P.S. Join JVP and thousands of others to demand an end to Trump's wars and brutality at a protest near you on March 28.

Why we're still planning delegations to Palestine
We have been fielding a lot of questions recently about whether our upcoming delegations will still be happening.
The short answer is yes.
Of course, delegate safety remains our highest priority, and we continue to monitor the security situation in Palestine and the broader region.
But we remain steadfast in our mission and belief that experiencing Palestine firsthand is critical to the movement for Palestinian liberation -- not just in inspiring advocates for justice, but in providing support to Palestinians on the ground, who are experiencing escalating attacks on their existence and livelihoods. We saw, for example, this Ramadan the unprecedented closure of Al-Aqsa mosque, where worshippers were prevented from entering during the holy month and shot at by IOF soldiers on Eid. We also saw the indefinite closure of the Tomb of Christ for the first time in Christianity.
Our delegations not only give people within Palestine a window and platform for their voices, but also, in supporting their businesses, we support their resilience in the face of extreme economic violence.
Visiting Palestine sends a crucial message: Palestinians are not alone.
I hope you will join me this Tuesday, March 24th at 8:00pm EDT to hear from our most recent delegates about their experiences in Palestine. It was a special Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) delegation, with delegates from many different backgrounds -- Native American, Black American, Indigenous Hawaiian, and more -- each having their unique perspectives and understandings of what they witnessed, and further cementing the bonds of solidarity.
Thank you for supporting this important work.
In gratitude,
Nancy Mansour

Today is the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, marked each year on March 21. On that day in 1960, police in apartheid South Africa opened fire on peaceful Black protesters in Sharpeville, killing 91 people. At least 29 were children.
This massacre failed to suppress the struggle. Protests spread across South Africa, and around the world a growing solidarity movement rose to stand with them. That history inspired Palestinian civil society to issue the historic call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions, or BDS, against Israel in 2005 — the same year Israeli Apartheid Week was first launched.
Today, all major human rights organizations and the World Court recognize that Israel is imposing a system of apartheid against Palestinians. And over the coming days and beyond, people of conscience around the world will join Israeli Apartheid Week 2026.
We call on you now to escalate your efforts by joining IAW events worldwide and amplifying our call.
Share our call to join IAW 2026 now.

Today is Eid al-Fitr. On this holy day, Israeli forces have fired tear gas at Palestinian worshippers and blocked them from praying at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.1 Meanwhile we’re on the brink of an all-out world war. Israel has bombed Iran’s South Pars gasfield in a major escalation, while continuing to massacre families in Lebanon, Palestine, and Iran.
We must keep fighting for a liberated future where we’re all free. In just three weeks, the war on Iran has cost an estimated $25 billion of our tax dollars.3 Americans are facing skyrocketing gas, groceries, rent, and healthcare costs. Our tax dollars should be funding care for our communities, not killing. Read the latest updates below.

As the cost and danger of the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran rises, the Pentagon is reportedly seeking another $200 billion of our tax dollars to fuel attacks. Not another dime for endless wars!
-
Trump administration senior intelligence official Joe Kent resigned over the war on Iran, stating “it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
-
AIPAC and other conservative lobby groups linked to AI and crypto just funnelled over $35 million into Illinois primaries to manipulate races in their favor. This is election interference, and it’s wrong.

Opinie | Een Palestina-referendum in Amsterdam is hard nodig

Eid Without Al-Aqsa: Apart in Place, Together in Faith
The American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) family extends its warmest greetings on the blessed occasion of Eid al‑Fitr. We pray that Allah Almighty accepts our fasting, worship, and good deeds during the holy month of Ramadan. We also ask Him to grant mercy and relief to all those suffering oppression in occupied Palestine, Sudan, Lebanon, Iran, Kashmir, Myanmar, here in the United States, and across the world.
This year’s Eid arrives under a profound shadow of sorrow. The Gaza Strip continues to endure a slow‑motion genocide, as daily Israeli assaults on civilians and a relentless, brutal siege deepen the famine that has gripped the population for nearly two and a half years, amid the widespread destruction caused by Israel’s war of annihilation.
Meanwhile, Al‑Aqsa Mosque remains closed by Israeli authorities in a blatant violation of religious freedom for more than twenty days, marking the third consecutive Friday in which Palestinians have been prevented from performing Friday prayers and the Eid prayer.
At the same time, the joint U.S.–Israeli military assault on Iran and Lebanon enters its fourth week with no sign of de‑escalation. Instead, the aggression has expanded across the region, destabilizing it and producing serious repercussions for the global economy and energy markets.
Despite the pain and grief caused by the reckless decisions of certain world leaders—including in Washington and Tel Aviv—we remain committed to the prophetic tradition of seeking joy in Eid and carrying forward the spirit of Ramadan, which teaches us to nurture hope at all times. Yet hope cannot be realized without unwavering faith in Allah, coupled with conscious, persistent, and determined action to translate that faith into meaningful change.
This is our collective responsibility, our mission, and the spirit that guides our work at AMP as we strive, together with our community, to challenge harmful policies in this country and advance justice here and everywhere.
We extend our heartfelt wishes for a blessed Eid. May Allah accept your good deeds, and may the coming year bring us the joy of celebrating Eid in a liberated Al‑Aqsa Mosque, Allah willing.
In Solidarity,
Dr. Osama Abu IrshaidExecutive Director, AMP

Humanitarian Situation Report
19 March 2026

Highlights
- Families across the Occupied Palestinian Territory are concluding the month of Ramadan amid deepening humanitarian needs and heightened exposure to violence, displacement and destruction of property; UN human rights officials warn of a pattern of unlawful killings.
- In the Gaza Strip, reports of airstrikes and other attacks hitting civilian areas continue, while over the weekend, a strong dust storm damaged the shelters and belongings of hundreds of families in displacement sites.
- In the West Bank, settler attacks have become more severe, with a 54 per cent increase in injuries and a more than fourfold increase in related displacement this year compared with 2025 averages.
- Access to Gaza remains restricted, with Kerem Shalom being the only operational crossing point for humanitarian and commercial supplies, resulting in a major bottleneck; meanwhile, the Israeli authorities have announced the resumption of limited medical evacuations and returns through Rafah crossing.
Overview
Families across the Occupied Palestinian Territory have observed the month of Ramadan amid tightened restrictions and heightened risks to their safety.
The UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) has raised alarm over a pattern of unlawful killings following incidents on 15 March in which two Palestinian families were reportedly killed by Israeli fire in Gaza and the West Bank. The office warned that these incidents, alongside escalating settler attacks and intimidation against Palestinian communities, raise serious concerns about impunity and protection risks for civilians.
In the Gaza Strip, most people remain displaced, often living in dire conditions with limited protection and inadequate access to diverse and sufficient supplies, while continuing to face daily shooting and strikes hitting residential areas. Casualties continue to be reported including among children and women. The Israeli authorities have announced that the Rafah Crossing will reopen for the resumption of limited movement of people, namely medical evacuation and returns. Kerem Shalom remains the only operational crossing for cargo, creating a major bottleneck for incoming supplies.
In the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the humanitarian situation has further deteriorated. This is marked by rising casualties, intensified violence by Israeli settlers, and increased risk of eviction. Displacement linked to settler attacks and access restrictions so far in 2026 has already reached about 95 per cent of the total numbers recorded in the whole of 2025. Since the beginning of March, intensified movement restrictions have limited people’s access to land, livelihoods and essential services, and further exacerbated a pre-existing coercive environment that pushes people out of their homes and communities. These risks have intensified in the context of regional escalation, which has led to fatalities and injuries as well as property damage.

From the operating room in Gaza to the campaign trail, AJP Action is proud to endorse Dr. Hamawy
AJP Action is proud to announce our endorsement of Dr. Adam Hamawy for Congress in New Jersey’s 12th District!
In this critical moment, we need leaders with a proven record of service and the courage to put people over politics, and that means standing up for human rights both here at home and abroad. Dr. Hamawy’s life is a testament to that commitment. He is a veteran, a skilled surgeon, a small business owner, a father, and a husband.
Dr. Hamawy has dedicated his life to serving others. Now, he’s ready to bring that same dedication to Washington to fight for working families and to ensure our government serves the interests of the people, not the military-industrial complex or foreign governments.
He stands with Americans first. That means he wants to fight against our tax dollars continuing to fund illegal wars and genocide. From ICE terrorizing our communities here at home to Israel committing a US-backed genocide in Gaza, Dr. Hamawy stands firm in his belief that human rights must be at the root of everything. He sees a government that has become a "cesspool of corruption," trampling on civil rights and bullying us into silence, while sending billions abroad for destruction.
“When I returned from medical missions in Gaza and the West Bank in 2024 and 2025, I was proud to join advocates like AJP Action in the push to end U.S. support for genocide and occupation. My patients in Palestine deserve freedom and dignity like every human being. I am honored to have earned the support of AJP Action and look forward to working with them in Congress,” Dr. Hamawy shared.
In a district that deserves a champion willing to fight for real solutions and a foreign policy rooted in human rights, Dr. Adam Hamawy is that candidate. Learn more about him here.
Let’s send a leader to Congress who will put our interests and human rights first!
Stay tuned for more endorsements. If you’re a current candidate or know of one and are interested in our endorsement, please fill out our questionnaire!

Last summer, I had the chance to spend time in Cairo, Egypt with an organization that changed the way I understand what serving your community truly looks like.
I worked closely with Network for Palestine, a community organization built by displaced Palestinians from Gaza, for displaced Palestinians from Gaza. Many of the people leading this work are genocide survivors themselves, carrying the weight of everything they’ve endured while still waking up each day to support others. And for all of them, the nightmare is not over. Their families are still in Gaza, still living through the genocide, still trying to survive.
I’m reaching out now because we are trying to raise $10,000 by Friday, the end of Ramadan, to keep this work going at a moment when it is urgently needed.
I remember walking into their space and seeing what they had built with so little. Families coming in not just for aid, but for dignity. Volunteers who themselves were displaced, organizing distributions, coordinating housing, checking in on medical cases, making sure no one slipped through the cracks.
And what struck me most is this: they are not waiting to be saved. They are building systems of care for each other.
Because the reality is harsh. Palestinians displaced to Egypt are living without basic rights. Many cannot legally work. Access to healthcare is limited and if available, often unaffordable. Children struggle to enroll in school. Every part of daily life becomes uncertain. And yet, Network for Palestine has built real, functioning programs that meet these needs head-on.
They help families pay rent so they are not forced onto the streets. They work with local doctors to coordinate medical care. They create educational spaces and trainings so people can learn skills, continue their studies, and build something for their future, all free of charge.
And right now, they are working to build out a formal training center, a space where the displaced Palestinian community in Cairo can access consistent education, skill-building, and pathways to rebuild their livelihoods with dignity.
In the past year alone, they’ve supported thousands of families with housing, medical care, and basic needs, and served over 20,000 Palestinians through their programs.
This is what it looks like when a community organizes for its own survival, and its own future.
We are now trying to raise $10,000 in two days. Can you help us reach this goal?
This is a short window, but it is enough to make a real difference. Enough to cover rent for families who would otherwise lose their homes. Enough to fund medical treatments that cannot wait. Enough to keep these programs running, and growing, when they are needed most.
Give the gift of solidarity to displaced Gaza families
And if you can’t give, sharing this fundraiser with your friends and families matters just as much.
I’ve seen this work up close. I’ve seen the care, the accountability, the way every dollar is stretched to meet real needs. This is a community holding itself together in the face of everything trying to break it apart.
Let’s help carry that with them.
With love,
Izzy Mustafa

It is now confirmed that Masjid Al-Aqsa will be closed for Eid.
For generations, Masjid Al Aqsa has stood not only as a place of prayer but as the north star of the Palestinian liberation struggle. Today, it stands empty, silenced by Israeli military occupation for eighteen consecutive days during the holiest month of the year.
This move to keep the Masjid closed indefinitely denies millions of Palestinians and Muslims the ability to gather, pray, and celebrate one of the most sacred holidays in Islam at one of its holiest sites. Entire families who have, for generations, marked Eid within the walls of Al Aqsa are now being deliberately shut out.
Give to AMP on this blessed night and help us fight back against the erasure of Palestinian life, faith, and freedom in Jerusalem.
This is one of the most blatant phases of a full-frontal, decades-long war on Islam by the apartheid state. The Israeli government has been engaged in a systematic campaign to erase identifiable Islamic religious markers from Jerusalem for decades. By shutting down and limiting access to Al Aqsa during Ramadan, blocking the Adhan (the Muslim call to prayer), desecrating Muslim cemeteries, engaging in ethnic cleansing of native Palestinian Muslims from Jerusalem, and amplifying calls from cabinet ministers and settlers to replace the mosque with a temple, Israel is sending an unmistakable message: Islam is not welcome in the Holy City.
For over three decades, Israeli policy has worked to accelerate what started in 1967. The goal is the eventual division or destruction of the Al Aqsa compound to pave the way for the so-called "Third Temple" and to usher in an era of Jewish supremacy in Jerusalem and its surroundings.
If the world remains silent while Al Aqsa is emptied, while the Adhan is silenced, while the government and its settlers plot the mosque’s destruction, we become complicit in the erasure of Islam from Jerusalem.
On this blessed final odd night of Ramadan, we must double down on our work for Masjid Al Aqsa. Please donate to AMP today so we can expand our advocacy and organizing to challenge U.S. support for Israel’s attacks on Palestinian rights, holy sites, and freedom of worship.

As the cost of groceries, housing, healthcare, and education skyrockets, the Trump administration is funneling billions of our tax dollars to arm Israel’s genocide against Palestinians and militarize immigration enforcement that is killing people in our communities at home.
While our politicians tell us our government doesn’t have money for our own communities, the numbers tell a different story. Since October 2023, the U.S. government has announced sending $37 billion in military funding to mass murder the Palestinian people.
And just last month, Trump launched an unconstitutional, dangerous war on Israel’s behalf that has already killed over 1,400 people across Iran.
Read below to learn more about how grassroots supporters like you are sustaining the movement for Palestinian rights:
- Thousands of community members have attended USCPR Action’s monthly power hours and mass movement calls, where we feature our current advocacy campaigns, share organizing strategies for the short and long-term, and highlight the most effective ways to take action.
- In a historic first, Rep. Delia Ramirez introduced the Block the Bombs Act in May 2025, to block weapons that have been documented in Israel’s devastating attacks against Palestinians. The bill has achieved unprecedented support with 63 cosponsors as of March 2026, representing the most significant challenge to U.S. military funding to Israel in decades.
- Led by USCPR Action, more than 150 grassroots organizers participated in our monthly city council and corporate pressure strategy groups last year. Our team provides trainings, workshops, and strategic support for activists organizing to divest from genocide through campaigns in their local communities.
Right now, our team is planning for the year ahead, and we need your help to ensure we have the resources to keep fighting for a future where we fund care for our communities instead of genocide and war.
Will you contribute $25 to USCPR Action today to help offset the impact of your tax dollars and sustain our urgent work in the months ahead?
DONATE NOW
With midterm elections just around the corner, we’re building out an endorsement process to champion candidates who are uncompromising in their support of justice and liberation for the Palestinian people and will fight for our vision to end all U.S. military funding to Israel.
And with your generous contribution today, we’ll also continue updating important resources—utilized by thousands of supporters every year—like our Not My Tax Dollars map and Congress Scorecard.
You and I both know how much is at stake in the year ahead, so let’s make a difference together. Please consider making a contribution today.

The holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, with Muslims worldwide preparing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a time of joy, gratitude, and spiritual renewal. This year, the celebration are overshadowed by hunger, grief and forced exile for millions of Palestinians, Lebanese and Iranian families due to the ongoing Israeli crimes.
Many community-led solidarity initiatives around us are stepping up, and we have made a list of trusted ones. If you are able to, make a donation.

This Saturday, March 21, environmental justice organizers will gather in Houston to confront Chevron executives at one of the largest fossil fuel industry conferences in the world: CERAWeek.
That same week, March 21-28, the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement is calling for a Boycott Chevron week of action—and you can participate. The week is timed to end on the March 28th No Kings mobilization day, when hundreds of thousands of people across the U.S. are expected to take to the streets and push back against corporate capture of our democracy.
Join the week of action
Why Chevron?
Chevron is a primary energy provider to Israel, exploiting gas fields off the coast of the occupied Gaza Strip to power Israel's electricity grid, including illegal Israeli settlements and military bases. Chevron is complicit in Israeli energy apartheid and the illegal exploitation of Palestinian land and resources.1
In Houston, Chevron decimated the Black neighborhood of Kennedy Heights and operates the third-most polluting refinery in Harris County.2 In Ecuador, Chevron dumped 16 billion gallons of toxic waste in the Amazon rainforest, poisoning and displacing hundreds of Indigenous families and communities.3 The pattern is the same: profit over people, extraction over life.
That's why this week of action connects movements across the Gulf South, Gaza, Ecuador, and beyond. When we disrupt Chevron's business as usual, we strike at the heart of a system built on genocide, apartheid, and environmental destruction.
Find an action near you or register your own at the Boycott Chevron Week of Action Map.
Find a #BoycottChevron action near you
Here are a few of the ways you can take action March 21-28:
- Peacefully disrupt events sponsored by Chevron with noise and sound.
- Join in Houston: Connect with environmental justice partners to confront Chevron executives at CERAWeek on March 21.
- Show up for No Kings on March 28: Bring Boycott Chevron materials and let reachable allies know that, as consumer activists, they have both the right and the moral duty to reject corporations that profit from genocide, apartheid, and environmental destruction.
We encourage activists to consult with local legal counsel about the risks of specific tactics in your context.
When the anti-apartheid movement picketed Shell's gas stations in the 1980s, it dented Shell's market share in the UK. Divestment campaigns like this one helped catalyze the end of apartheid in South Africa. We are building that same kind of sustained, strategic pressure on Chevron and this week, we have a historic moment to amplify it.

Support the work for Palestine on this blessed night
As we begin this blessed night, we reflect on the deepest lessons of this holy month. It was on Laylat al-Qadr, “better than a thousand months”, that the Qur’an was revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ï·º, bringing hope and mercy to a world in need.
But the Prophet’s life teaches us that hope is not sustained by faith alone. It is built through vision, strategy, sacrifice, and steadfast effort. True hope is not passive—it is something we work for, struggle for, and bring to life.
That is the spirit that guides our work for Palestine here in the United States.
At American Muslims for Palestine, we know the challenges are immense. We face the entrenched influence of the pro-Israel lobby and the long-standing complicity of U.S. administrations in supporting Israeli oppression. But we do not face these realities with despair. We face them with resolve, clarity, and trust in Allah’s promise.
Make a zakah-eligible donation tonight on this blessed night to help us turn hope into action.
Over the years, we have seen these attacks up close. Yet, by Allah’s grace—and with your support—we have prevailed again and again. We have defeated five frivolous federal lawsuits and resisted every attempt to silence our advocacy for Palestinian freedom. Their efforts to intimidate us only confirm one truth: they cannot defeat the facts, the justice of our cause, or the growing awakening in the hearts of people across this country.
And that awakening is real. For the first time in decades, American public opinion is shifting toward Palestine. Younger generations are speaking out for justice. Political support for Israel is no longer untouchable. More people are questioning the status quo, and the ground is moving beneath the feet of those who have long tried to silence us.
That is exactly why this moment matters.
Our opponents see the shift, and they are working hard to stop it—by distorting the narrative, spreading fear, and trying to break our momentum. We cannot allow that to happen. We must stay focused, steadfast, and committed to the work ahead.
On this blessed night, I ask you to stand with AMP once again. Your donation will help us continue this critical work: defending our rights, challenging false narratives, educating the public, and building the power our movement needs to advance freedom and justice for Palestine.
Thank you for standing with us, for believing in this cause, and for helping turn hope into action.
“So be patient, for the promise of Allah is true. And do not let those who lack certainty shake your firmness.”[Surah al‑Rum, 60]With gratitude,Dr. Osama Abu IrshaidExecutive Director, AMP

Today, I work with Refuser Solidarity Network to push refusal and dissent from the fringes into the mainstream, passing the support I received as a teen forward to others who need it. RSN works to support war resistance: during the genocidal campaign on Gaza, we supported a movement of soldiers who refused to participate in Israel’s war. We are building the infrastructure necessary to oppose the unjust wars Israel is waging, like the deadly war our government is waging against Iran.
Our work relies on global support, people like you passing it forward. Support our work today.
Support War Resistance
Five years ago, I moved to New York City. Even though I am oceans away from Israel/Palestine, I am part of the resistance movement against the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian people. In October 2023, as Israel began its genocidal campaign in Gaza, I got arrested with Jewish Voice for Peace at Grand Central station while holding a sign saying, “Israeli against the occupation”. A few months later, I joined a group of Israeli activists to disrupt a gala celebration of Friends of the IDF, an American organization fundraising for the Israeli military. In both the US and Israel/Palestine, I will continue to fight for liberation for all because I know that there is no such thing as military solutions. Ordinary people, primarily Palestinians, Iranians but also Israelis, pay the price of endless war and militarization.
When I refused, I hoped to move my peers towards refusal by showing them another way is possible. My organizing work today, bridging New York City and Israel/Palestine, is an outgrowth of my initial decision to refuse at the age of 18: I want to show the world that another way is possible. That is what brought me to RSN, where I recently started coordinating our social media work, amplifying the voices of Israeli war resistance.
Support War Resistance
I know that only mass dissent and refusal can produce the openings we need to end the occupation of Palestine and stop imperial wars — and that’s the context of my work in RSN.
I hope you will support us in expanding our work: amplifying civil dissent, providing infrastructure for war resisters, and building bridges between global solidarity movements and people here on the ground, from Iran to Gaza to Jerusalem to New York.
In solidarity,
Roni Zahavi-Brunner

After four months of consistent public pressure, Chevron Out of French Quarter Fest, a coalition of organizations, has won their demand. In the coalition’s own poignant words:
Since 2013, Chevron has been the title sponsor of French Quarter Fest in New Orleans. Thirteen years of washing blood from their hands with the sweat and culture of New Orleans. As of 2027, Chevron will no longer be given such a luxury.
In January 2026, as the Chevron Out campaign increased pressure, Chevron was demoted from its position as a title sponsor of the event. Now, Chevron is entirely removed as a sponsor of the festival beginning next year.¹
If you’re reading this, this is your victory, too. You broke a 13-year curse on French Quarter Fest.
- Thousands of you signed USCPR’s #DropChevron petition, which uplifted Chevron Out of French Quarter Fest’s ongoing campaign and sent direct email messages to the festival’s organizers.
- So many of you voiced your outrage on French Quarter Fest’s Instagram page during our Boycott Chevron Mass Movement Call that you forced their marketing team to turn off the comments.
If you missed the Mass Movement Call, you can still watch this clip to hear me break down past wins that led us to this corporate pressure tactic; AND predict the future when I pass the mic to “our upcoming #DropChevron win, Matt with Chevron Out of French Quarter Fest.”
Now, French Quarter Fest needs your support against the Zionist backlash it’s receiving.
Take action now to thank French Quarter Fest for dropping Chevron and pressure the remaining targets to follow suit!

Vorige week lanceerden wij onze petitie Stop Israëls martelkampen.
Gedode Palestijnse hulpverleners liepen in Israëlische hinderlaag
Den Haag | Movies That Matter filmfestival
Coexistence, My Ass! (21, 22 & 24 maart)
Steal This Story, Please! (22, 25 & 27 maart)
The Voice of Hind Rajab (28 maart)
The Voice of Hind Rajab reconstrueert de schokkende, waargebeurde gebeurtenissen rondom haar moord.
What If They Bomb Here Tonight (21, 22, 23, 25 & 28 maart)

While Trump and Israel escalate war on Iran, the weapons and military cargo fueling these attacks and Israel's ongoing genocide against Palestinians keep flowing.
That's why we're hosting a People's Embargo for Palestine Power Hour this coming Wednesday, March 18 at 3PM ET / 12 noon PT, and we want you there.
Through a people’s arms embargo, we will fight to stop the flow of weapons from the local level and up, holding accountable local governments with their ports and airports, shipping companies like Maersk, and weapons manufacturers like Elbit.
Cosponsored by the People's Embargo for Palestine coalition and the Mask Off Maersk campaign.
You'll take action alongside organizers on the frontlines of the people's arms embargo movement:
- Hear from Kirby of the Elbit Out of SC campaign about how organizers in South Carolina are holding complicit corporations accountable and building power on the city council level. This campaign is a model for what local arms embargo organizing looks like on the ground.
- Get a live update from Alex of the Mask Off Maersk campaign and take action in real time to pressure Maersk ahead of their Annual General Meeting. Maersk continues to transport military cargo to Israel as it commits genocide against Palestinians, accelerates illegal settlement expansion, and escalates regional war, including against Iran and Lebanon.
- Pressure your members of Congress to cosponsor the Block the Bombs Act (H.R. 3565). More than 60 representatives have already signed on, and we need more. Your calls and emails can move the needle.
- Learn how to plug into local and national organizing, whether you're just getting started or ready to go deeper.
A people's arms embargo is how we win. Every company that stops shipping weapons and military cargo. Every city council that passes a resolution. Every member of Congress who cosponsors the Block the Bombs Act. We are applying pressure on every part of this war machine until something gives.

Druk helpt!

Afgelopen zaterdag werd in Amsterdam The People's Congress for the Hague Group gehouden.

What if I told you that AMP and our chapters have worked to divest tens of millions of dollars from Israeli state bonds over the last two years?
What if I told you that our chapter in Minneapolis worked to end a city contract with an Israeli company?
Or that our chapter in Toledo got their county board of commissioners to divest from Israel?
Or that our New Jersey chapter successfully led the charge to defeat a dangerous piece of legislation in their state legislature?
Or that our chapter in Chicago ushered in a new era in Palestine advocacy by supporting the introduction of a repeal of the anti-BDS laws in Illinois?
You’re probably thinking that we are some large organization with millions of dollars to spend on these initiatives and more. We are not. In a true reflection of the Palestinian people and our struggle, our organization works effectively and efficiently with a nimble budget.

The U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.
Since the U.S. and Israel's attacks began on Iran last week, nearly a dozen countries across the region have been dragged into a war that threatens the lives of hundreds of millions of people. The U.S. and Israel have already killed over 1,348 people in Iran and approaching 500 people in Lebanon, injuring and displacing hundreds of thousands.
Amidst the online noise, media propaganda, and the terrifying prospect of an escalated regional war, what guides us as we continue to mobilize for Palestinian liberation, and for collective liberation for all?
In this week’s Wire:

Tell Congress: No war on Iran!
The U.S. and Israel have launched a brutal war on Iran — a country of 90 million people. Now, reports indicate that Trump might call on Congress to approve $50 billion in military funding to expand this immoral and illegal U.S-Israel war of aggression.
Use this tool from JVP Action to tell Congress to block ANY funding for this war on Iran.
Tell Your Senators: No Funding for ICE
On Friday, February 13th funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) expired. Though reporting suggests that DHS is “shutdown,” agencies that make up DHS including ICE and CBP can still operate at full force thanks to the billions that were given to DHS through last year’s reconciliation bill.

BREAKING THE SILENCE
9 maart 2026
On Saturday morning, February 28, we woke up to rocket alerts. Israel and the US began bombing Iran. As of today, 13 people have been killed in Israel, and more than 1200 people have been killed in Iran. The Israeli government and the media present the attacks on Iran, among other things, as a moral mission to help Iranians resist a repressive and violent regime while being utterly blind to the fact that Israel itself sustains its own violent and repressive regime in the oPt. Everyone deserves freedom and safety. It is a moral imperative we uphold here, between the river and the sea, and it is just as relevant in Iran. No one deserves to live under a dictatorship, or under bombs, or under terror.
As so often happens when media attention shifts, Israel seized the moment to intensify its attacks against Palestinians. Here is what happened in the West Bank and Gaza in the last days:
Pogroms in the West Bank
After the Israeli-American offensive began, settler terrorists carried out a series of attacks against Palestinians. In the first week of the war, six Palestinians were killed in settler terror attacks in the West Bank. On Monday, settlers targeted the village of Qaryut, where two brothers were killed and three others injured, including a 15-year-old child.
YouTube Shorts: Settler terrorists killed two brothers inside their home in Qaryut, the West Bank.
The assault began when settlers attempted to destroy a Palestinian-owned olive grove to pave an illegal road. As Palestinians tried to drive settlers off their private property, the settlers opened fire, killing two brothers, 45-year-old Faheem Muamar and 53-year-old Muhammad Muamar, both shot in the head while sitting in their backyard.
The shooter was part of a regional defence unit, which we have repeatedly described as settler militias with no oversight. These units, comprised of settlers, are armed by the IDF and are formally subordinated to it. Their official function is to provide settlers with the means of self-defence. In practice, rather than defending anyone, they carry out acts of terror against Palestinians and assault solidarity activists. When the IDF arrived in Qaryut, several Palestinians were detained by the IDF, while the terrorists continued to roam free.
On Saturday, settler terrorists targeted Masafer Yatta, killing 28-year-old Amerr Shnaran, a father of two, near Susya. Later that night, between Saturday and Sunday, settler terrorists attacked Khirbet Abu Falah, killing two residents: 24-year-old Thaer Hamayel and 57-year-old Fare’e Hamayel. When the IDF arrived in Khirbet Abu Falah, it fired tear gas at Palestinians, killing 55-year-old Mohammad Marra, who suffocated from the gas. The attacks in Qaryut, Masafer Yatta, and Khirbet Abu Falah follow a disturbingly similar pattern: settler terrorists, often wearing IDF uniforms, enter Palestinian villages with firearms and kill people. Afterwards, instead of stopping the terrorists, the IDF punishes the very people whom they attacked.
Critically, the line between the IDF and the settlers is becoming increasingly blurred, with many attackers wearing IDF uniforms, serving in regional defence units, or using IDF-issued weapons. These attacks are yet another tragic piece of evidence of a coordinated effort by the IDF, the state of Israel, and settler terrorists to drive Palestinians from their land. On Thursday, these coordinated efforts forced the last families of the Bedouin community on the outskirts of Duma, Nablus district. To learn more aboutthe eroding line between violent settlers and the IDF, see the new report by our partners at Yesh Din: “Settlers in Uniform: Violence Against Palestinians by Israelis in Military Uniforms.”

In Gaza, right as the offensive on Iran began, the IDF barred all humanitarian aid from entering the Strip, declaring that “the existing stock is expected to suffice.” After three days, Rafah, one of the crossings, was reopened. The bombing, however, did not stop: on Monday, artillery and tank shells were fired at Jabaliya, killing two people. Yesterday, the IDF struck near a crowded tent camp in Gaza City, killing six people, including a paramedic and two girls.
Annexation Moving Forward
In the past month, Israel’s security cabinet has taken several gravely consequential steps, which were widely interpreted as an act of annexation of the West Bank. While the West Bank has been de facto annexed for a long time, these new changes further diminish the already extremely limited autonomy of the Palestinian Authority.
Israel has granted itself the legal power to carry out demolitions in Areas A and B as well, if, in the view of its enforcement agencies, Palestinian construction is deemed to harm heritage or archaeological sites, or to damage the environment or water resources. Additionally, Israel has repealed previous restrictions that had limited land purchases by Israelis and foreign nationals, authorised unilateral construction changes at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, and transferred authority over planning and building in the city from the Palestinian Municipality to the IDF. And now, as Israel has granted itself the authority to destroy, buy, and build outside Area C, ethnic cleansing is easier than ever to carry out.
Two weeks ago, we began to see the impact on the ground, as a new settlement was established inside Hebron. We have seen a similar pattern of settlement expansion again and again in Hebron and other parts of the West Bank: as settlers move deeper into the occupied territories, their “security perimeter” expands with them, bringing more soldiers, more checkpoints, more arrests, and more violence into the lives of the Palestinians who live there. This forces some Palestinians to leave, and then new settlers move in, and the cycle begins anew.
We know how difficult it is to find the emotional and mental resources to keep the attention on Gaza and the West Bank these days. However, our diverted attention is exactly what the Israeli government and violent settlers are exploiting. We cannot afford to look away right now. We must do everything in our power to oppose this horrific reality and fight for a better future for all the people living between the river and the sea.

HOW WE FIGHT IN GAZA
“The Perimeter:” our new collection of soldiers’ testimonies chronicles the systematic annihilation and expropriation of entire villages and agricultural zones - anything that lay in the newly created Gaza buffer zone, which the IDF “completed” last December.
Since Oct 2023, Israeli officials have been consistently saying that the 238,000 Palestinians who once lived in this zone will not be allowed to return. This collection details the ethnic cleansing of around 16% of the Gaza Strip.
At the time of writing, it seems the perimeter is being expanded further.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The escalation across the Middle East has had an immediate impact on civilians across the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT).
- In Gaza, restrictions on aid operations mounted as crossing closures were accompanied by the suspension of humanitarian movement coordination, medical evacuations, returns of residents from abroad, and staff rotations. The closure of the crossings drove up prices and increased reliance on humanitarian assistance.
- The West Bank saw increased closures of checkpoints and road gates, severing movement between communities and governorates. Violent attacks continued, causing casualties, displacement and damage, amidst risk of falling debris following missile interceptions.
- In Gaza, sexual and reproductive health services remained severely disrupted, with screening and treatment services for cervical and breast cancer largely suspended since October 2023 with ongoing restrictions on the entry of critical equipment classified as “dual-use,” such as ultrasound machines, incubators, ventilators, and mobile maternity units, undermining safe antenatal, obstetric, and postnatal care.
- Since January 2026, the Education Cluster has reached 107,540 school-aged children and 4,200 kindergarten-aged children across 110 temporary learning spaces (TLSs) in Gaza with school‑in‑a‑carton, recreational, and early childhood development kits to improve the quality of learning.
SITUATION OVERVIEW
The regional escalation had immediate repercussions across the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
On 28 February, the Israeli authorities closed all crossings into the Gaza Strip, suspended entry of aid, fuel, and commercial supplies, coordination of humanitarian movements in and near areas where Israeli troops remain deployed, medical evacuations, the return of residents from abroad, and the rotation of humanitarian staff in and out of the coastal enclave. These measures triggered uncertainty about the availability of humanitarian and services, and private sector goods. Prices of basic commodities rose, increasing reliance on humanitarian support at a time when stocks could not be replenished.
Fuel imports into Gaza, where the electricity grid has been down since October 2023, had already been uncertain due to supplier-related issues. The closure of the crossings forced the limited fuel reserves within the enclave to be rationed: humanitarian partners and service providers suspended vehicle-supported solid waste collection and reduced water production levels. Contingency measures were also activated across hospitals and primary health-care centers.
On 3 March, the Israeli authorities reopened the Kerem Shalom crossing for fuel, and aid cargo coming through Egypt and Israel, while aid transfers from the West Bank and Jordan remained suspended as of 5 March. They also allowed the resumption of some commercial imports through Kerem Shalom. Additionally, they resumed the coordination of humanitarian movements in and near areas where Israeli troops remain deployed.
The Zikim and Rafah crossings remain closed and humanitarian staff rotations, medical evacuations, or the return of residents from abroad have yet resumed.
Airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire continued both near and away from the “Yellow Line” inside the Gaza Strip, reportedly resulting in casualties. According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, between 26 February and 5 March, 18 Palestinians were killed and 41 injured in the Strip. Overall, between the onset of the ceasefire on 10 October 2025 and 27 February 2026, the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) in the OPT recorded the killing of at least 224 Palestinians east or near the so-called “Yellow Line” and 347 Palestinians in attacks far from it.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces heightened movement restrictions on 28 February, further hampering access to workplaces and services, and largely isolating multiple communities. Before 28 February, 221 out of 420 existing road gates – the major form of impediment restricting movements in the West Bank – were already closed. Since 28 February, most of the remaining open gates have been either continuously or intermittently closed. These measures have limited humanitarian partners’ ability to deliver assistance and conduct needed operations, necessitating special coordination and arrangement to secure operations in exceptional cases.
In particular, increased access restrictions across the West Bank hindered the ability of ambulances and fire brigades to move between villages, hospitals, and service centres. Between 28 February and 3 March, WHO recorded nine incidents of ambulances being obstructed. WHO received reports of ambulances held at gunpoint at checkpoints, ambulances being searched by Israeli forces, and medical teams forced to take alternative and longer routes, delaying access to care. In one case in the Salfit area, WHO reports that a woman in labour was forced to cross on foot because the ambulance was prevented from reaching her. The provision of health services in clinics and hospitals was also affected, with medical facilities postponing surgeries due to the inability of essential medical staff to access their workplaces or being delayed at checkpoints, and several Health Cluster partners’ mobile clinics temporarily suspended operations.
Delays and closures have also caused shortages of fuel, including cooking gas, which has further affected service delivery.
GAZA HUMANITARIAN AID*
Between 27 February and 5 March, based on data retrieved from the UN 2720 Mechanism dashboard at 16:00 on 6 March, 3,424 pallets of aid administered by the UN and partners were offloaded at Gaza’s crossings. About 71 per cent of these pallets contained food supplies, followed by shelter items (17 per cent), education, WASH and nutrition assistance (8 per cent cumulatively), as well as operations, logistics and telecommunication material (4 per cent).
During the same period, 1,340 pallets of aid were collected at Gaza’s crossings. About 86 per cent of these pallets contained food supplies, followed by health (7 per cent), WASH (4 per cent), and operations, logistics and telecommunication material (2 per cent).
Overall, between the announcement of the ceasefire on 10 October 2025 and 5 March 2026, approximately 329,000 pallets of humanitarian cargo were offloaded, and over 326,000 pallets were collected from the operating crossings. Some 1,532 pallets, just 0.5 per cent all collected aid, were intercepted during transit within Gaza, with no new cargo interceptions reported since early November 2025.
The above data does not include bilateral donations and the commercial sector.
Between 27 February and 5 March, the United Nations coordinated 25 humanitarian missions with the Israeli authorities inside Gaza – nine on 27 February and 16 since coordinated movements were allowed to resume on 3 March. Of the total, 11 missions were facilitated, three were denied outright, three were cancelled by the organizers and three were approved but faced impediments and were partially or fully accomplished.
FUEL
The closure of the crossings on 28 February required that the limited accessible resources be rationed and allocated for limited life-saving health and WASH services. Since 3 March, following the reopening of Kerem Shalom, UNOPS has brought into Gaza 28 fuel trucks with approximately 989,000 litres of diesel, while no benzene has entered the Strip yet. This falls below the minimum requirements of approximately 300,000 litres of fuel per day to sustain critical humanitarian operations in Gaza.
HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE IN GAZA
Food Security
- In February, the exceptionally low rate of humanitarian cargo offloading at the Kerem Shalom crossing through the Egypt corridor significantly affected the food response in Gaza, particularly the household-level general food assistance. Throughout the month, partners reached approximately 1.2 million people with reduced rations that covered only 50 per cent of minimum caloric needs, compared to 1.6 million people reached with full rations in January. The March cycle is underway, with half-rations. Additional food supplies are urgently needed to ensure that partners have sufficient stocks to maintain distributions throughout the month.
- As of 28 February, nearly 1.65 million meals continued to be prepared and delivered daily by partners through 185 kitchens across Gaza. This included 553,000 daily meals produced in the north and 1,097,000 meals in southern Gaza.
- Amid existing challenges with sustained entry of supplies, the closure of all crossings on 28 February sparked immediate concerns about partners’ ability to maintain the same level of cooked meal production due to depleting food and fuel stocks. Approximately 710,000 meals, including 12,000 delivered daily to health facilities, were at risk of being put on hold if the full closure persisted. The reopening of Kerem Shalom, however, has allowed partners to sustain operations and avert any critical reductions. Previous Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) analyses showed that food security and malnutrition levels in Gaza can deteriorate – and also recover – rapidly depending on the volume of food supplies permitted to enter, underscoring the critical importance of ensuring a sustained and predictable flow of both humanitarian aid and commercial goods into the Gaza.
- As of 3 March, approximately 133,000 two-kilogram bread bundles continued to be produced daily through 30 UN-supported bakeries. One-third of this bread is distributed for free, along with cooked meals, while two-thirds are sold through 139 retailers at a subsidized price of NIS 3 (US $0.95) per bundle.
- In February, partners distributed approximately 40 metric tons of potato tubers that entered via the private sector in late January. Fifty-seven farmers in southern Gaza received this assistance to support 42 acres of potato cultivation. Partners continue to provide technical support throughout the cultivation process.
Health
- Health partners continue to operate under significant constraints, particularly related to dependency on fuel, movement restrictions and limited commodity stocks. Partners continue to prioritize life‑saving services, including emergency and trauma care, maternal and neonatal services and communicable disease management, while implementing measures to conserve fuel and adjust operations to maintain essential service delivery. Through coordination with OCHA, UNOPS and WHO, fuel allocations have been prioritized and secured for essential health facilities and partners, helping to sustain critical services in the immediate term. However, the situation remains fluid, and contingency planning is essential. Most services – including hospital operations, vaccine cold-chain systems, ambulance referrals, sterilization units and internal water supply – remain heavily reliant on generator power. Based on partner reporting, many services could face disruptions within approximately two weeks if fuel or supply pipelines are interrupted.
- Emergency medical teams (EMTs) continue to play an important role in service provision. However, the temporary halt to all international humanitarian personnel rotations has disrupted the rotation of internationally deployed EMT personnel. Advocacy efforts are ongoing to facilitate entry for EMT staff. Since the beginning of the year, 32 EMTs have been deployed – 30 international and three national teams – supporting service delivery across 32 health facilities.
- Between 25 and 27 February, 37 patients, including four children, were medically evacuated to Egypt via the Rafah crossing, alongside 91 caregivers. Overall, since Rafah reopened on 2 February, 319 patients and 529 companions have been evacuated through this corridor, bringing the total number of critical patients medically evacuated outside the Strip since October 2023 to 11,176. With the closure of Rafah on 28 February all medical evacuations remain suspended with over 18,000 patients in Gaza still in urgent need of medical treatment unavailable locally.
- Sexual and reproductive health services remain severely disrupted due to damaged infrastructure, shortages of essential medicines and supplies and limited referral capacity. There are an estimated 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza, with approximately 160-180 births occurring daily. Severe bed shortages mean women undergoing major procedures, including Caesarean sections, are often discharged within hours and return to overcrowded displacement settings, increasing risks of complications and infection. Ongoing restrictions on humanitarian supplies, particularly items classified as “dual-use”, continue to affect the entry of critical medical equipment such as ultrasound machines, incubators, ventilators and mobile maternity units. These constraints significantly limit the ability of partners to scale up maternal and newborn health services across Gaza, undermining safe antenatal, obstetric and postnatal care.
- Screening and treatment services for cervical and breast cancer have been largely suspended since October 2023, with access to family planning services, contraceptives, and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) also limited. Additionally, over 500,000 women and girls face shortages of menstrual hygiene materials and access to clean water.
- In early February, the Health Cluster distributed eight types of reproductive health kits to partner-supported facilities, reaching approximately 6,223 people and supporting clean delivery services, family planning, STI management, and emergency obstetric care. However, postpartum kits have now been depleted following the distribution of nearly 19,883 kits between October 2025 and February 2026, creating an urgent need for replenishment.
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
- Drinking water availability in Gaza city has remained severely constrained between 25 February and 4 March due to ongoing damage and recurrent repairs to the Mekorot pipeline from Israel and the Safa Wells. This has forced many residents to survive with less than the emergency standard of six liters of water per person per day. On 25 February, the Mekorot contractor completed repairs on the portion of the pipeline located in the area where Israeli forces remain deployed, east of the “Yellow Line”. On 4 March, Palestinian contractors repaired the damage just west of the “Yellow line”. The Mekorot line is currently being tested at 25 per cent flow rate for any additional leaks.
- The disruption in fuel supply at the onset of the regional conflict had an immediate impact on WASH service delivery. Initially, with no clear timeframe for the resumption of fuel deliveries, supplies were restricted to the main water producers and distributors, and water production was rationed. Fuel distribution to most non-governmental organizations and solid‑waste agencies was suspended, with the expectation that their services would cease once existing stocks were exhausted. Following the resumption of fuel entry on 3 March, WASH prioritization has expanded to include the resumption of vehicle-supported solid‑waste collection, as well as critical water‑trucking and water‑well operations.
Shelter
- Between 25 February and 3 March, Shelter Cluster partners reached 7,720 households with shelter assistance through in-kind and voucher-based modalities. In-kind distributions included 5,240 sealing-off kits, 1,595 bedding items and kits (each kit comprising four mattresses, four blankets, six mats and six pillows), 711 tarpaulins, 983 clothing kits and vouchers, and some tents.
- Cluster partners’ stocks remain extremely limited, with key items, such as tents, nearly depleted. This severely constrains partners’ ability to respond to inclement weather, should the rainy season continue, incidents, or emerging urgent needs, allowing only partial assistance due to the lack of essential materials.
- OCHA continues to coordinate efforts to address weather and accident-related emergency needs. Between 26 February and 4 March, 253 families affected by rains and 10 affected by accidental fires across northern Gaza, Deir al Balah and Khan Younis received multisectoral assistance packages, including tents, tarpaulins, clothing kits, blankets and cereals.
Site Management
- Site Management partners continued the rapid review of displacement sites that started on 3 February. As of 4 March, 990 sites hosting an estimated 1.2 million people have been surveyed. Of these, 78 per cent are makeshift sites, 19 per cent are collective centres - which include UNRWA designated emergency shelters - and the remaining 3 per cent classified as scattered sites. Findings show:
- Only 414 sites (46 per cent) have a trained site management agency or actor present, limiting the ability to systematically address operational and protection challenges.
- Critical infrastructure deficits are particularly evident in lighting, with just 101 sites (11 per cent) equipped with communal lighting. As a result, most sites operate in darkness after nightfall, substantially increasing protection risks, including exposure to gender-based violence. Limited visibility also makes nighttime access to essential services risky, especially for women and children.
- About 83 per cent of the sites report infestations of rodents and pests causing public health risks.
- More than half of the sites report accumulated solid waste that has not been collected for at least 30 days, and more than 250 sites (approximately 26 per cent) lack latrines altogether, leading to reports of open defecation and the presence of feces in communal areas.
- These conditions call for urgent need for scaled-up interventions to mitigate protection risks, prevent disease outbreaks, and restore minimum standards of dignity and safety for the displaced communities.
Protection
- General Protection
- Between 26 February and 3 March, partners provided protection services to more than 21,500 people, including children, caregivers, women, persons injured and with disabilities, frontline workers, as well as communities in displacement sites and shelters across the Gaza Strip.
- Services focused primarily on psychosocial support (psychological first aid, psychosocial support sessions and specialized mental health services), case management, legal assistance, disability-inclusive and rehabilitation services, community awareness and protection monitoring, while integrating humanitarian assistance aimed at reducing vulnerability and negative coping mechanisms.
- Protection partners continued to maintain a strong field presence through both community-based services and mobile outreach. Activities were delivered through a combination of in-person and remote modalities, allowing partners to maintain service continuity despite mobility constraints and security concerns.
- Child Protection
- Between 26 February and 4 March, Child Protection (CP) partners reached approximately 4,100 children with mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), while over 690 caregivers participated in caregiver psychosocial support and parenting sessions to strengthen coping strategies and improve child wellbeing.
- During the same period, child protection case management services reached 39 children with individualized support. Another 37 children were referred to specialized services based on tailored case plans that addressed health, education and shelter needs.
- Community awareness activities continued across shelters and displacement sites, reaching more than 1,000 caregivers and community members with child protection information on safety, reporting mechanisms, prevention of family separation and positive parenting. In addition, 809 children and 220 caregivers participated in Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) sessions, and child‑friendly awareness materials were distributed.
- Despite these efforts, children continue to face heightened protection risks in overcrowded displacement settings. Concerns include unsafe shelter conditions, limited lighting, lack of privacy, child labour and child marriages linked to economic hardship, exposure to abuse, and injuries caused by dangerous shelter environments. Access to safe spaces also remains a major challenge, and many children cannot attend school because of overcrowding or the absence of functioning learning facilities.
- Operational constraints are limiting the scale and continuity of services. Fuel shortages are affecting staff mobility, funding gaps are hindering child protection programming, safe spaces for activities remain limited, and electricity and internet disruptions continue.
- Addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
- Between 25 February and 4 March, partners addressing GBV continued to provide essential services through 68 Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSSs), two safe shelters, and other case management and awareness‑raising service points. Some 8,750 people received support, including through group psychosocial activities, individual case management and distribution of cash for protection assistance. Another 68 people were referred to additional services, including health care. In addition, over 1,300 women and girls received dignity and menstrual hygiene management kits.
- Last week, over 3,000 people, including 260 men participated in awareness‑raising activities on legal rights, health education and GBV prevention.
- Seven partners are currently providing remote services via helplines. The Women Affairs Center launched two new helplines at the end of February, for women and girls respectively, staffed by case managers and operating from 08:30 to 15:30.
- To improve access to services, partners addressing GBV are updating their service map for dissemination in March. A task force was also formed at the end of February to review and contextualize guidelines for WGSSs. Partners are conducting self‑assessments to identify training needs for capacity‑building activities starting in March.
- Partners addressing GBV are exploring ways to link vulnerable women and girls with sustainable livelihood options to offset the current lack of income-generating avenues.
- Mine Action
- Between 25 February and 4 March, partners conducted 69 explosive hazard assessments (EHAs) in support of debris removal activities, along with 42 quality assurance (QA) visits to verify compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure operational standards are consistently upheld.
- Between 1 and 5 March, EORE activities reached over 11,000 people in Gaza city, Deir al Balah and Khan Younis. The Mine Action Area of Responsibility (AoR) and EORE Technical Working Group are also rolling out a digital EORE prioritization tool to strengthen coordination among EORE actors and identify priority areas for intervention.
- No new explosive ordnance incidents were recorded during the reporting period.
Education
- As of 1 March, Education Cluster partners were operating 502 temporary learning spaces (TLSs) serving more than 297,500 children across Gaza. Between 28 February and 3 March, partners distributed 1,062 School‑in‑a‑Carton kits, 78 Recreation‑in‑a‑Carton kits, and 94 Early Childhood Development (ECD) kits across 24 TLSs in Khan Younis and other accessible areas of Rafah, which collectively benefited 43,300 school‑aged students and approximately 4,200 kindergarten‑aged children. These supplies are helping to improve the quality of learning in temporary settings, while recreation kits enable structured group activities that support children in coping with trauma and encourage positive social interaction—both critical for their wellbeing and development. Overall, since January, the Cluster has reached 107,540 school-aged children and 4,200 kindergarten-aged children across 110 TLSs with school‑in‑a‑carton, recreational and ECD kits.
- In addition, 64 high‑performance tents have been distributed, with installation completed or underway in 13 learning spaces across the Strip. This forms part of the cluster’s scale‑up efforts to expand learning capacity and increase enrollment opportunities, enabling both pre‑school and school‑aged children to access in‑person learning.
Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA)
- During February, Cash Working Group (CWG) partners distributed MPCA to about 100,000 households. Each household received NIS 1,250 (US $378) through digital payment modalities in line with the agreed minimum expenditure basket transfer value. In total, more than 177,000 households have received at least one MPCA transfer in 2026.
- The closure of crossings in the context of the regional escalation caused an increase in the prices of both food and non‑food items. Concerns are highest for non‑food items, as most private sector commodities entering Gaza are food products (estimated at 70 to 75 percent), leaving essential non‑food items in very limited supply.
- According to the Gaza Chamber of Commerce, the current pace of commercial truck entry continues to limit availability of goods, restrict restocking and weaken market resilience. Quantities entering are too low for vendors to maintain stock, resulting in items selling out within days. Where stock is available, it typically lasts only two to ten days. This contributes to market volatility and makes it difficult for humanitarian actors to predict trends or assess feasibility of different assistance modalities.
Emergency Telecommunications Cluster
- The Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) and UNDSS are coordinating the transition from the discontinued very high-frequency radio model currently used in Gaza to a newer, upgraded model. A unified code plug has been developed to standardize radio programming across Gaza and the West Bank, ensuring consistency and improving operational reliability.
* All figures solely refer to UN and partner assistance dispatched through the UN-coordinated system and are preliminary. Supplies entering through bilateral donations and the commercial sector are not reflected.

Today on International Women’s Day, the reality of Palestinian women cannot be separated from their tireless resistance to colonial violence and ongoing genocide — which demolishes their homes, threatens their land and throws them in prison cells. Women also carry most of the burden of caring for a grieving community.
In Israeli prisons, Israel imposes an even more complex reality on female Palestinian prisoners in general. Apartheid Israel arrests dozens of women from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and an unknown number from Gaza. These women are subjected to the most heinous forms of assault and psychological, physical, and sexual torture.
Israel’s violence does not affect Palestinian women alone; its impact extends to women across West Asia and North Africa. As Israel’s wars of aggression against the peoples of the region expand from Lebanon to Syria and from Yemen to Iraq, women across the region confront the human cost of repeated wars and displacement, while sustaining the struggle for liberation and dignity.
In waging a ruthless, criminal war of aggression against the people of Iran, the Israel-US genocidal axis is escalating its attempt to impose a might-makes-right order that threatens humanity at large.
Share our International Women's Day call now.
Palestine is a feminist cause. In honor of the suffering, sacrifices, and heroic resistance and sumud of Palestinian women, we will continue to escalate pressure against genocidal Israel, including Israeli and complicit companies and institutions.
The BDS movement calls on our millions of supporters worldwide to escalate pressure to end Israel’s genocide and its decades-old regime of settler-colonialism, apartheid, and illegal occupation.

My name is Shahaf, I’m an Israeli conscientious objector because I’ve always opposed wars. The war the US and Israeli government just started is illegitimate and unjust, and a true example of why our movement matters beyond just Israel and Palestine. As Israelis we say: This war on Iran must be resisted and stopped.
One way you can help our war resistance is to share our message with others and invite them to sign up to our updates on Israeli war resistance here.
Support War Resistance
We were inspired to see Iranian citizens show great courage as they rebelled against an oppressive regime. We were shocked with the violent repression they suffered. This is not the first time they took to the streets demanding their rights, but this time it has been massive. The regime's violent repression of their protest has been devastating, and Israeli and American attacks carried out in our names for their supposed freedom are even scarier.
We must resist the war on Iran. We know nothing good can come out of military aggression, it is only civil resistance, nonviolent struggle, that can triumph over an oppressive regime. Many times, as history shows, foreign intervention only strengthens oppressive conservative regimes. Only the Iranian people can create a prosperous future for themselves, and they are on the streets doing so. War is a violent distraction.
From our end, as Israeli war resisters, we know that another war with Iran means loss of life, insecurity and trauma for everyone living between the river and the sea, but those without proper shelter are more likely to suffer. We know that more war and foreign intervention is never the answer, and ordinary people pay the price of Netanyahu’s warmongering. The Iranian people deserve better than being pawns in yet another imperial war
A war in Iran is not going to create long lasting peace in the Middle East. No American or Israeli military action would. We must continue resisting war, must support grassroots movements in Palestine, Israel and Iran. We are more interlaced than ever. Please, help our war resistance by sharing our message with others and inviting them to sign up to our updates on Israeli war resistance here.
In solidarity,
Shahaf Weisbein

Support AMP’s advocacy work this Ramadan
What if I told you that on the third Friday of Ramadan the third most sacred site in Islam would be closed?
As the illegal Israeli-American war on Iran enters its second week, devastation spreads across the Middle East. And in Palestine, we are witnessing another Ramadan under genocide, occupation, and apartheid.
Across Palestine, violations are escalating: Settlers are rampaging across the West Bank, killing Palestinians including Palestinian American Nasrallah Siyam, worshippers are blocked from Masjid Al-Aqsa during the holiest month of the year for Jummah and Taraweeh, Gaza is deliberately starved through delays and closures, while occupation and apartheid continue to be normalized.
Will you make a Ramadan gift today to power AMP’s political advocacy?
Three years into the genocide in Gaza, we see a new reality. What was once silenced is now spoken openly in the halls of Congress, on campuses, in city councils, and in the streets of cities across this country. This is the result of Palestinians refusing to disappear, and because every day, people like you have helped build a growing movement that is rooted, principled, and determined.
At AMP, we’ve been leading efforts to turn outrage into organized, strategic political pressure that decision makers cannot ignore. Our supporters generated hundreds of thousands of calls and emails to Congress and the White House demanding action, and we brought more than 700 advocates to Washington, D.C., to meet directly with their elected officials. This on the ground power strengthens the policy work and campaigns needed to defend Palestinian rights and protect sacred spaces like Masjid Al-Aqsa.
We’ve reached the third Friday of Ramadan and are now more than halfway through a month meant for action. Give now! And with your help, we will keep moving forward because there is no turning back.

As Israel-U.S. War on Iran Escalates, Israel’s Assault on Palestinians Intensifies
It has been a week since the U.S. and Israel launched an illegal, unjustified, and unprovoked war on Iran. Throughout this time, the Israeli government has taken advantage of the world being distracted to escalate its genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people.
Over the last week alone, Israel has:
- Prevented Palestinians from entering and praying at Masjid Al-Aqsa, imposing sweeping restrictions on worshippers, cancelling Friday prayer on the third Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, and turning one of Islam’s holiest sites into a militarized zone.
- Allowed a surge of violent settler attacks across the occupied West Bank:
- On March 2, 2026, two Palestinian brothers, Muhammad and Fahim Taha Muammar, were shot and killed by settlers in the village of Qaryut near Nablus during a confrontation over an Israeli bulldozer illegally paving a road through Palestinian olive groves. This comes after yet another Palestinian American, Nasrallah Siyam, was murdered by settlers just a week before.
- In the first four days of March, there were at least 50 separate incidents of Israeli settler violence documented across the West Bank.
- Masked settlers have been reported raiding villages, attacking homes, and destroying olive groves that families rely on for their livelihoods.
- Closed and tightly restricted border crossings in Gaza further obstruct an already insufficient flow of aid entry, which is pushing the population deeper into famine and mass suffering.
This is Israel’s long-standing strategy: escalate repression on Palestinians whenever the world’s attention is being pulled elsewhere. While headlines focus on regional war, Israel continues to entrench its control, expand settlements, and collectively punish an entire population under occupation.
And for nearly three years now, the U.S. government has armed, funded, and politically shielded Israel as it carries out the devastation of Gaza. Even as Israel blocks aid, expands settlements, and allows settlers to terrorize Palestinian communities, Washington continues to ship weapons and provide diplomatic cover.
U.S. law very clearly prohibits military assistance to governments engaged in gross human rights violations, and international law bars collective punishment and the targeting of civilians. Yet the weapons continue to flow.
Instead of restraining its ally, Trump is once again choosing escalation and inserting itself our country as an equal partner in this war; expanding confrontation with Iran, and reviving the same regime-change fantasies that have devastated the Middle East for decades.
The result is a region pushed closer to catastrophe and wider war. The genocide in Gaza continues unabated. The West Bank is under military rule and is under the threat of complete annexation. Lebanon faces renewed, relentless bombardment. And now Iran is dragged into a widening war as U.S. and Israeli airstrikes pound targets across the country. The war is being imposed on much of the region as Iran retaliates against American bases and facilities within it.
None of this is about security or regime change. Both U.S. and Israeli leaders have been saying the quiet part out loud. What Israel and the United States are executing is imposing militarism, colonial expansion, and imperial overreach on the broader Middle East.
If there is to be any hope of stopping this spiral, the Trump administration must be held accountable for its role. As long as Washington continues to bankroll and shield Israel’s actions, the violence will not stop.
In solidarity,

Israeli soldiers have kicked out families from their homes, and settlers have taken over their houses in Hebron!
We are writing to share a short video update from Issa Amro, co-founder of Friends of Hebron, speaking directly from Hebron about the current situation on the ground — including the ongoing war and recent legal changes affecting the West Bank.
In moments like these, we believe it is important to hear directly from those living the daily reality in Hebron. Issa shares what these developments mean for local families and for the work of nonviolent community organizing.
We hope to begin sharing updates like this on a monthly basis, so that you can hear directly from the people working on the ground.
We also wanted to share a short clip of Issa speaking at the opening of Ahmad Film House, our new community cinema. Opening remarks in Arabic. And here is a short film in honor of Ahmad Amro, who the film house is named after.
These are particularly challenging times. If you are able, please consider making a contribution to help sustain our programs and community protection efforts in Hebron.
Hebron Changemakers Summer Internship
Come join us in Hebron! We also want to invite you to join us for the 2026 Hebron Changemaker Summer Internship beginning this June! Take part in an immersive, field-based program for young adults dedicated to human rights and grassroots activism in Palestine. Participants will travel to Hebron to learn and practice nonviolent resistance, participate in community projects and research, and serve as a protective presence for the local Palestinian community.

Lees ons uitgebreide artikel De hypocrisie rond Israëls nucleaire programma.

In totaal namen veertig landen deel.

The U.S.-Israel Axis is the world's primary engine of military aggression and global instability.
From the ongoing genocide in Palestine to the unprovoked strikes on Iran in February 2026, to the continuous bombing and mass displacement in southern Lebanon, no other combination of states comes close to this combined violent record. The Israeli colonial regime is also taking the opportunity to starve Palestinians again, and seize more land.
The current aggression is yet another manifestation of their joint imperial project over the region, with Palestine as its founding laboratory.
One can easily feel paralyzed and helpless in the face of the ongoing atrocities.
At PIPD, we advocate to center Palestinian voices on Palestine, in their diversity. We also don’t want to speak on behalf of Iranians on what is happening, acknowledging their multi-layered realities.
We don’t claim to have all the solutions, we are here to support understanding and clarity that can lead to action and organizing collectively against oppression, colonialism and imperial greed. Our movement is powerful, let’s keep the focus.

Susan Abulhawa reflects on her visit to Sulala Animal Rescue
When I entered Gaza the first time in 2024, Sulala had run out of food for their animals and were mixing whatever canned food they could find with old bread. That too was threatening to run out. So, along with the 20+ suitcases of medicines and supplies I had brought for people, I filled about 10 duffle bags full of cat and dog food along with flea and tick treatment. It was was a drop in the bucket, of course, and it only lasted a month or two, but it was enough to tide them over until a larger shipment, which had been stuck at the border, was given clearance to enter. The genocide in Gaza has targeted all life—

For our Virtual Visit this month, we will be going to Sulala Animal Rescue with our guide, founder Saeed Al-Err.
Nobody in Palestine loves animals more than Saeed Al-Err. For decades he used to roam the streets of Palestine feeding the stray animals. In 2006, he founded Sulala, the first animal rescue organization in Palestine. Now he and his family dedicate their whole lives to helping animals. In addition to operating as a stray animal shelter and vet, the organization seeks to promote the welfare of animals through education.

We were saddened to learn of Mary Ann Kerr's passing late November 2025. Mary Ann, along with her husband Doug who we also recently lost, was a beautiful human being and pillar of the Eyewitness Palestine community. Her obituary embodies EP's mission and reflects her long legacy of human rights work and pursuit of justice, for Palestine and within her own community.
A Message from Joe Groves, Co-Founder and Board member of Eyewitness Palestine:
I remember sitting down to lunch with Mary Ann and Doug in DC in 2008 (I think) and asking if one of them would serve on the Interfaith Peace-Builders Board. Both of them said, no, there was no way that they could add the IFPB Board to the work they were already doing. I had an idea: “Well, why not share a seat on the Board and split the work.” They said yes! Of course, we got full-time Board work out of each of them. Two for the price of one.
This instance tells a lot about Mary Ann and Doug. They shared life and work. When they made a commitment, they fulfilled it with energy and determination. Mary Ann ended up focusing on building IFPB work in Cleveland; Doug focused on the Board itself.
There are a number of people who have been critical to IFPB/EP’s success. Mary Ann is one. After serving one term on the Board, she decided she wanted to focus on building regional networks for IFPB, starting with a Northeast Ohio chapter. We tried to build several IFPB chapters. Only Mary Ann and Doug and succeeded because of their commitment of time and energy and their organizing skills. They recruited people for the Northeast Ohio chapter, many of whom had never heard of IFPB. They organized speaking tours and house parties; they sold olive oil; they raised money. They were energizers for IFPB.
For over a decade, Mary Ann was there for IFPB. Playing multiple roles. Expanding IFPB’s capacity. Raising money. Doing what was needed. Being present. She did it with enthusiasm, grace, and humor. She knew the struggles of Palestinians well, but she came at her work with positive energy, a smile, and lots of laughter, all needed pieces of the life-long commitment that she made.
Mary Ann Kerr, presente!

"Mary Ann and Doug were among the first people I met when I joined the board in 2010, and from that very first face-to-face meeting in Washington, DC, I was deeply impressed. We connected instantly. They had already visited Palestine and my hometown, Hebron, through a delegation, and Mary Ann’s knowledge, passion, and unwavering commitment to justice left a lasting mark on me.
During the years we served together, I learned so much from them. Their dedication was not just words—it was action. From their tireless work in Cleveland to the unforgettable annual house parties they hosted, which became highlights of our fundraising efforts, they gave their time, energy, and hearts fully.
They are profoundly missed. Mary Ann’s voice, stories, and spirit will always stay with me. May she and Doug rest in peace, and may their legacy of compassion and courage continue to inspire us all."

As Israel uses our U.S. tax dollars to massacre Palestinian and Iranian families, we must scale up our work to cut off the weapons once and for all.
It’s going to take all of us, pushing together over the long haul. But that future is within reach. Public opinion is on our side, the people’s rage won’t be silenced, and it’s only a matter of time before the genocide machine breaks down.
Since our organization began nearly 25 years ago, USCPR’s ultimate goal has been to end U.S. military funding to Israel. So we’re sharpening our strategic vision, focusing on where we can make the highest impact in the short- and long-term.
From grassroots campaigns to Capitol Hill advocacy to BDS victories, our small but mighty team has powered a movement that is winning real change.
Now we're bringing on two senior leaders to deepen our work. If you know someone who would be a great fit, or if one of these roles speaks to you, I hope you'll take a look.
Director of Organizing
The Director of Organizing will drive USCPR's programmatic strategy according to our mission, values, and strategic plan. You'll supervise and support our three-member organizing team; manage organizing coaches, fellows, and volunteer organizers; and build deeper organizing skills across our networks.
You'll lead national campaigns, including deepening strategy for divestment and building grassroots advocacy capacity for legislation to end U.S. military funding to Israel. You'll also represent USCPR in public-facing coalitions and events, holding relationships with key Palestine and cross-movement partners. This is a full-time remote position based in the U.S.

Development Director
The Development Director will work with our dynamic staff and volunteer boards to retain, cultivate, and expand a growing base of donors. You'll manage the major gifts program, including identification, solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship, and lead grant seeking, including managing existing relationships with foundations and drafting proposals and reports.
You'll develop and execute an annual fundraising plan, lead fundraising special events, and coordinate donor prospecting to diversify USCPR and USCPR Action's donor base. You'll also be responsible for annual planning, goal-setting, compiling data on giving trends, and using metrics to improve fundraising operations. This is a full-time remote position based in the U.S., with the ability to travel to DC and Boston as needed.

Both roles offer a salary range of $90,941–$102,941 based on years of experience, plus employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, 15–20 days of vacation, floating holidays, personal time off, and 36-hour work weeks.

Last weekend, the U.S. and Israel launched a disastrous and illegal war on Iran. In the days since, a dozen countries have been pulled into the war and hundreds of people have been killed across the region, including 165 people at a girls' school in Iran bombed by the U.S.-Israeli coalition.
Emboldened by their joint genocide in Gaza, Trump and Netanyahu are pulling the entire region towards all-out war, with no concern for the lives of half a billion people living in the region.
Meanwhile, the Israeli government is using this opportunity to further its genocidal and expansionist goals, shutting down all entry points into Gaza and the West Bank and bombing and invading southern Lebanon.
Here's what you can do right now:
1. Demand Congress take action to stop war with Iran
Congress will likely vote this week on a War Powers Resolution. Use this JVP Action tool to demand Congress reject Trump and Netanyahu’s illegal war of choice against Iran.
2. Gather and act at the Power-Half Hour.
Every day at 3pm ET, join us as we discuss the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran and across the region, and take action together to advance our demands: No War, No Genocide, Abolish ICE, Free Palestine.
3. Fight militarism everywhere: No war, no ICE!
The war on immigrants continues while Trump wages war abroad. Soon, the Senate will vote on a bill that continues funding immigration enforcement and detention. Use this JVP Action and DWN tool to demand they vote NO on ICE and CBP funding.
Tell your Senators: No ICE funding
The horrifying impact of the U.S. and Israel’s imperialist warmaking, violence, and crippling sanctions have devastated Iran and the region for decades.
A U.S.-Israeli war on Iran is already leading to death and violence across the region — we must do everything we can to stop it from going any further.
In solidarity,
Jason Farbman

This weekend, we all witnessed the U.S. and Israel launch a dangerous war on Iran. They bombed a girls' elementary school, killing more than 100 children with the death toll still rising.1
This is what our tax dollars are funding. And this was a war of choice. Let’s be clear: this is Israel's war that the U.S. is now fighting. Israel has pushed the U.S. to attack Iran for two decades, and Netanyahu finally got what he wanted.2
Tell your members of Congress: No war on Iran, no weapons for Israel! Stop using American tax dollars for endless wars and cosponsor the Block the Bombs Act NOW.
TAKE ACTION
Meanwhile, the Trump administration is recycling the same Bush era playbook used to invade Iraq, manufacturing fear, claiming imminent threats that don't exist, and bypassing Congress entirely. Trump launched this war without congressional authorization, in clear violation of the Constitution.3
Americans are not buying it. A new CNN poll shows a majority of Americans oppose the strikes on Iran.4 A Reuters/Ipsos poll found only one in four Americans approve.5
Even within Trump's own party, support is shaky: fewer than half of Republicans want the strikes to continue.6 This is a deeply unpopular war, started on behalf of the rogue Israeli government that has already committed genocide in Gaza and is now dragging the entire region into catastrophe.
Email Congress now. Tell them our tax dollars should fund care not killing, and demand they cosponsor the Block the Bombs Act.
CONTACT CONGRESS
Here's what you need to know about what's at stake:
Congress votes on the War Powers Resolution this week. Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie, a Democrat and a Republican, are forcing a vote to reassert Congress's constitutional authority to declare war.7 The resolution already has 84 cosponsors. Every member of Congress needs to go on record: do they stand with the American people, or with a reckless, unauthorized war?
The Block the Bombs Act (H.R. 3565) is more urgent than ever. With 63 cosponsors and growing, this historic bill would stop the U.S. from supplying Israel with bombs, tank rounds, artillery shells, and more deadly weapons.8 We reached this point precisely because politicians in both parties armed Israel to the teeth while it committed genocide, building up the massive military arsenal Israel has now used to launch a war on Iran.
Israel shut down all aid crossings into Gaza the moment the strikes began, once again using war as a cover to punish and starve Palestinians.9 World Central Kitchen says it will run out of food this week if the crossings aren't reopened. During Ramadan.
Americans are facing rising grocery prices, healthcare cuts, climate disasters, and skyrocketing rent, all while our government spends billions on forever wars. Trump ran as the "peace" candidate. The GOP called themselves the "pro-peace ticket." They lied, and now people are dying in a war that the overwhelming majority of this country never asked for.10
Take just 2 minutes right now to tell Congress: No war on Iran. No weapons for Israel.
TAKE ACTION NOW
It is long past time our elected officials listened to us. 59% of Americans oppose this war. 60% oppose arming Israel. The people have spoken. Now Congress needs to act.
Onward to liberation,
AHMAD ABUZNAID
Executive Director

This weekend as Israel and the U.S. launched war on Iran, Benjamin Netanyahu said, “This combination of forces allows us to do what I have been hoping to do for 40 years.”
He said this after a joint Israeli-U.S. airstrike bombed a girls’ school, killing at least 175 people.
This is not about “defense.” This is not a sudden escalation or a last-minute response. What we are witnessing is the continuation of a long-stated goal: to expand war in the region and pull the United States into direct confrontation with Iran.
Without immediate action, the bombings will continue, just as they have in Gaza.
Tell Congress: Take Action to Stop War with Iran
A bipartisan group in Congress is working to block further military action in Iran by passing the War Powers Resolution in the House and Senate. Among the leaders of this push are Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massieand Senators Tim Kaine and Rand Paul. Their efforts could stop a decades-long disastrous regional war.
This war has no authorization from Congress. Americans do not support it. It violates both U.S. law and international law.
As supporters of Palestinian freedom, we know this pattern. The same logic used to justify the devastation of Gaza is now being used to widen this war. Civilian lives are treated as collateral.
We cannot accept it.
Write to your Members of Congress now to demand that they cosponsor and vote yes on the Iran War Powers Resolutions and stop weapons to Israel.
Since October 2023, Israel has expanded its military assault from Gaza and the West Bank into Lebanon, Syria, Yemen—and now Iran. This is not a series of separate events. It is one strategy: escalation.
Gaza was the testing ground. When mass civilian killing, siege, the bombing of hospitals and schools, and deliberate starvation brought no real consequences, international law was pushed aside. Impunity became policy. We are living with the results.
Write Congress: Stop the War, Stop Weapons to Israel
Gaza remains sealed. Food and humanitarian aid are blocked. Humanitarian organizations have been forced to halt daily meal operations. Hospitals and schools continue to be hit.
In the West Bank, checkpoints are closed, settler violence is rising, and annexation is accelerating. At the same time, Israel has intensified its bombing of Beirut and called up reservists in preparation for a possible ground invasion of southern Lebanon. This is a widening, multi-front war that treats entire cities and the civilians who live in them as expendable.
Israel is not just seeking U.S. support for its expansionist agenda. It is seeking U.S. participation, drawing this country into a project that frames endless war as destiny. Powerful donor networks and far-right Christian Zionist groups in Washington are helping drive this agenda forward, despite widespread public opposition.
Allowing Israel to continue its genocide in Gaza with impunity has emboldened the rogue state to “finish the job” and make Netanyahu’s decades-long dream a reality. It has set a precedent not just for what Israel can get away with, but for what other nations may do in the future.
Contact your Representative and Senators and demand they vote YES on the War Powers Resolutions and support legislation to block bombs to Israel.
Tell them clearly:
- No war on Iran
- No more U.S. weapons to Israel
- End the siege and starvation of Gaza
This is a decisive moment. Silence will be read as consent. We must do everything we can to stop this war before it is too late.

Israeli border tech is not about security, it’s a tool for ethnic cleansing
"I am sitting around a fire outside my home. Above me, a drone circles my house, stopping every few minutes to hover some 15 meters away. Its camera points directly at me, unsubtly filming me in my own yard. This is not unusual. I am filmed, photographed, tracked and surveilled wherever I go..."

BBC: Israel expands West Bank control
The Israeli security cabinet passed major changes to the established division of powers in the West Bank, including expanding Israeli control beyond its military occupation, into the provision of municipal services in Palestinian-run areas, as well as broad powers to take over "heritage sites" across the West Bank.
"They were expanding a lot without any legal basis," he said. "Now they [will be] the law. They are changing the status from Occupied Territories to a legal dispute. It's part of Israel now without any rights for me. It's annexation of the land without me, as a Palestinian."

Ziv here. With Refuser Solidarity Network’s support, I lead the Changing Direction movement, which promotes civil disobedience to combat the Israeli government. Throughout Israel’s assault on Gaza, we led protests and direct actions outside the Israeli military headquarters and the Ministry of Defense. We barricaded ourselves in Benjamin Netanyahu’s party headquarters. We organized direct actions calling attention to the people of Gaza. And now, we are also fighting alongside Palestinian citizens of Israel, who are rising up against years of state neglect, rampant violence in their communities, and an apartheid regime that treats their lives as expendable. They are being killed at record rates: since the start of 2026, 47 Palestinian citizens of Israel have been killed in homicides. That is one person everyday. The far-right government has completely abandoned them as part of a state policy of total neglect and disinvestment, and we refuse to stand by. Changing Direction is not only showing up in solidarity; we are actively organizing to build Jewish-Palestinian partnerships that can challenge this injustice together. If you believe in this work, please make a donation today to help us expand and sustain it.
Support War Refusers
Over the last few years crime organizations have flourished in Palestinian towns while the state has failed to enforce the law or provide basic safety as part of a policy of neglect. Weapons flood communities. Families are left to fend for themselves. This is not accidental dysfunction, it is discriminatory policy. When violence devastates Palestinian society and the government does nothing, it reinforces a clear message about whose lives matter.
But communities are refusing to accept this reality. Palestinian organizers, local leaders, and families have led powerful protests demanding safety, dignity, and accountability. And we have made the decision to stand with them, not symbolically, but materially and organizationally.
That means showing up in the streets when they call for protest. It means placing ourselves between demonstrators and far-right extremists who arrive to intimidate and provoke violence. It means using our networks to bring more Jewish Israelis into this struggle to witness, to listen, and to act.
Support War Refusers
Last week, during a nationwide day of disruption led by Palestinian citizens, families blocked roads and organized nonviolent protests across the country. Changing Direction escalated alongside them. We blocked the entrance to the Ministry of National Security, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, whose policies have deepened discrimination and abandonment. For an hour, we disrupted business as usual and demanded an end to the two-tier system that devalues Palestinian lives.
But protest alone is not enough. We are investing in leadership development and coalition-building so this movement grows stronger, broader, and more resilient. Last week, we held a community organizing training for our activists focused on cultivating new leadership and expanding our capacity. Our goal is clear: to help build a shared movement to confront this unjust reality.
Support War Refusers
This is the long game. Building trust across communities. Expanding circles of courage. Turning solidarity into sustained power. The government is counting on division and despair. We are building partnership and action instead.
Your support makes this possible. It allows us to train organizers, mobilize quickly when communities call for action, protect demonstrators from violence, and build the coalitions necessary to challenge systemic discrimination at its roots.
If you want to see a different future here, one built on equality, safety, and shared struggle, please donate today to power this work.
